“Sarajevo School of High Energy Physics 2012” (SSHEP 2012) will be held at the Department of Physics, Faculty of Science, University of Sarajevo from May 9 to May 13, 2012. The School aims at the advanced undergraduate and beginning graduate students who are interested in topics pertaining to High Energy Physics (HEP).


The application process for participation at SSHEP 2012 was opened on December 1st, 2011. Application closing date is March 15th, 2012. To apply, it is sufficient to send a short Curriculum Vitae and a Letter of Motivation to any of e-mail addresses listed in CONTACTS. All students who would require support for travel and lodging during the School are strongly encouraged to apply as soon as possible.


Every effort will be made during the selection procedure to produce a well-balanced list of participants in order to promote high academic standards while reflecting international character of the School. The level of support will be known once the final decisions from relevant funding agencies and supporting institutions are known.

SSHEP 2012 is the third edition of the Sarajevo School of High Energy Physics. In order to accommodate as many students as possible from the region the organizers have decided the language of SSHEP 2012 to be English.
