The project activities adjusted according to the approved budget

 

VI.2.3. Presentation of the JP at MICOM

(6 participants from 6 institutions as national represenatives at MASSEE Council Meeting in Athens, 11 April 2009)

Council took decisions that SEE Young Researchers Workshop will be the official part of MICOM and that SEE Doctoral Year in Mathematical Sciences will be a substantial part of 2011: Year of Mathematics in South-Eastern Europe, to be announced by MASSEE

 

I.2.1. Workshop on the Structure of PhD Program, June 22-26, 2009

(12 participants from 11 partners)

Basic structure of PhD Program agreed, where included regulations are understood as minimal requirements. The Academic Board nominated

 

V.1. Training in use of IT in Mathematical Modelling, Graz, September 6-11, 2009

(2 trainers + 8 trainees; 7 universities)

(19 PhD students and 11 professors; 9 partner institutions)

VI.4.2. Academic Board Meeting on Core Knowledges and Evaluation of SEE Young Researchers Workshop; Sofia,  September 21-24, 2009

(7 Academic Board members + 2 consortium committee members as consultants)

The areas of six doctoral courses for 2011 decided.

 

IV.1.4. Workshop on Scientific and Labor Market Oriented Goals: Mathematical Modelling and Financial Mathematics, Budva, October 21-25, 2009

(8 participants from 7 partners)

Inputs given concerning two master level courses in Mathematical Modelling and Financial Mathematics to be implemented in 2010.

 

II.1.5. Workshop on Core Subjects and Quality Assurance, Tuzla, Nov. 04 – 08, 2009

(16 participants from 11 partners)

The recommendations of the Academic Board discussed. The phase of departmental work on PhD curricula proposals incorporating these recommendations initiated.

 

V.2. Legal activities concerning procurement of the equipment are currently taking place at WB partner institutions.
